Happy National Poetry Month!

This poem called Marginalia makes me smile because it reminds me of the way I read and made notes in the margins in my college days.

The Writer's Almanac is a good source for a week-daily poem, if you need a quick fix.

I just read the Marginalia poem. Yes, I did write, "Man v. Nature" in my side notes, many times. Usually I would get sloppy and just write "MVN". I like to look back at my old school books because I not only wrote notes about the text, but I wrote notes about myself, too. Things like, "CB + JS", or "The Beatles 4Ever", or "Mr. Vandewater Rocks" (he was my earth science teacher) are also included in my marginalia.

I just had to write something else because the "word verification" on this page is "cokesoy". Apparently there is product placement everywhere.

Speaking of Coke, we spotted something called Coca-Cola Blak at Target this weekend. It's a Coke and coffee premium fusion beverage.

Which makes me wonder with the competition of things, will Pepsi come up with a similar product and call it Pepsi-Cola Dark? Or maybe they'll just go the Jolt route and call it:

Pepsi Spazz
