Reading: Japer Fforde, The Big Over Easy - delightful, as is all of his writing, if a bit more heavy handed thans the Thursday Next books. And, Tom DeHaven, Dugan Under Ground.

A great thing that's occurred to me about Mr. Fforde's various works: because of the unusual relationship between his text and the story it tells, JF's books are virtually immune to motion-picture-adaptation... Hey Hollywood, put that in your pipe and smoke it...
