Bright Morning Over Virginia
Dare I say I feel downright optimistic this morning, knowing that Tim Kaine is our new governor?
This is where to go to check election results by locality, to see if your neighbors voted like you did.

I got cut off on the highway the other day, and I was about to make a disparaging remark about the driver's mother and girlfriend when I noticed that he had a Tim Kaine sticker on the back of his truck.
Instead I gave the man a thumbs up and a hearty "Right On!"
I had told my husband before the election that if Kilgore wins, we were moving out of the Commonwealth.
The Sunday before the election I noticed that the Arlington Republican Party were calling (thank God for Caller ID). I was so tempted to pick up the phone and tell them I was personally going to come over and bulldoze their home to widen 66. Obviously Kilgore was not campaigning for Arlington votes on that subject. Yeah 66 stinks big time, but if you want a McMansion on the cheap your punishment should be putting up with the traffic and pollution.

Amazingly, I find that not ALL stupid drivers are Republicans in gas-guzzling, fume-belching, lane-crowding, ultra-opaque SUV's...
