|At the end of the 1700s, the site of the spring was more on this side of Lakeside Ave. (while the park is on the I-95 side)|
Later in the afternoon, I baked. Yesterday, I did bits of yardwork, and brought in a few snips of daphne and camellia. That's the front yard camellia. It must have begun blooming on a 60 or 70 degree afternoon, then been frost-nipped brown on a 20-degree night. So, here's two days' worth of pink and red all together.
