Hail
Little guy comes into the library; he needs help finding a book on lions. He holds the scrap of paper with the call number we found; I guide him over and leave him to pick something.
He comes back with that book, and now wants something on JFK (he says it like that: in initials). We search for those items and I again leave him to pick something. He sits down on a KikStep and starts humming "Hail to the Chief." Which is now stuck in my head.

Weird. I hope that's not the ONLY option they have, because that's what I got, too! And I really don't think of myself as "breakfasty". More like lunchey. :)
Oops, wrong comment area. The time change ruined my blog commenting ability.
This always happens to me when I see this one Geico commercial with the caveman in the airport on the movable sidewalk. I don't know what the little easy listening, Europop ditty is that they're playing, but I will sing it for the rest of the day anytime I hear it.
"And every where I go, there's always something to remind me, a little space and time..."
BTW, did you check out the 50th anniversary edition of the Kik-Step with the literary quotes on the bottom? Crazy
CNB, one of my Sea Scouts had that Geico Europop ditty on his MP3 player last night! The band is Royksopp, and the song is "Remind Me"....
I love that song!
Awesomeness! Thanks for the info, Spunkyp. It's as good as purchased on iTunes!

He's also in a "Simon and Garfunkel" style band that I LOVE, called "The Kings of Convenience."
Done with the music pimping for now. :)
